Why do we draw?
Drawing has become a hobby for any type of person, whether they are artists or not. But many turn to this hobby for different reasons: out of necessity, to practice, among others.

Distraction
Many people find peace in having a sheet of paper and a pencil. It serves as an escape from present reality and as an opportunity to create a world according to their thoughts.
Emotional Stability
It comes along with the distraction. Drawing can serve as an activity to connect with yourself and find different emotions.
Comunication
"A photo can say more than a thousand words." Drawing also serves as a way to express your emotions and your personality. It is a language that everyone can understand.
Creativity
The desire to create runs among all of us, and by drawing we strengthen our creative capacity. It is a visual representation of anyone's thoughts.
Education
We can learn by looking at a picture or illustration of any topic. We can even resort to drawing if we can't write a paragraph.
interpretation
To share our way of seeing things with our surroundings. As an opinion, it can serve to make people who see the image think.

Did you know that?
Picasso is believed to have suffered from depression during his well-known blue period. After the suicide of his friend Casagemas in 1901, he began to paint pictures in which blue tones predominated. Although Picasso was normally a sociable person and who liked to go out, he fell into a sadness that led him to paint melancholic paintings and of people marginalized by society such as beggars, the blind or women in poverty.
Like him, there are many artists who learned to transform emotional problems from him into art.
